The Foundation Sponsor of Cityscape Global, Emaar Properties is showcasing path-breaking projects that support Dubai’s strategic vision to strengthen its economic competitiveness and serve as a global hub for business and leisure. Emaar’s repertoire also includes projects that support Dubai’s preparations to host the World Expo 2020, which is expected to welcome over 25 million visitors over the six-month period. Additionally, the company’s pavilion will highlight how Emaar has transformed the property sector of Dubai through its approach to create lifestyle destinations that add value to customers.

Ahmad Al Matrooshi, Managing Director of Emaar Properties, said: “Led by strong economic fundamentals, Dubai’s property sector is recording robust growth. The city today serves as the investment destination of choice for investors from around the world. As a definitive showcase of the dynamism of Dubai’s property sector, Cityscape Global is an ideal platform for us to highlight our project pipeline that will create a brand-new skyline for the city.”

He added: “The pioneer of integrated master-planned communities in Dubai, Emaar has been shaping lives and the future with our developments. Our iconic projects have defined the cityscape of Dubai, adding tremendous value to the economy. Continuing on the inimitable approach of Emaar in creating vibrant hubs that celebrate life, our upcoming projects have been masterfully designed to reflect the needs and trends of the future. Smart, inter-connected communities that take into consideration the highest standards in sustainability, our new projects will further define Dubai as one of the most sought-after property markets in the world.”

Emaar’s pavilion at Cityscape Global will feature Downtown Dubai, its flagship mega-development as well as a captivating display of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, Emaar will present an interactive model of The Opera District, envisaged to be the dynamic cultural hub of the city. Visitors can also gain an insightful perspective of Dubai Opera, a 2,000-seat multi-format venue for opera, theatre, concerts, art exhibitions, orchestra, film, sports events, and seasonal programmes. The project is a strong complement to Emaar’s developmental philosophy of developing dynamic destinations defined by luxurious lifestyle choices as well as a strong cultural backdrop.

Downtown Dubai’s masterplan will be complemented by Emaar’s newest project launches within the neighbourood. These include BLVD Heights, the recently launched twin-tower residential project on a landscaped retail podium, strategically located on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. Also to be presented is The Address Residence Sky View, a striking 50-storey hotel, residence and serviced apartment twin-tower complex, designed by the architects of Burj Khalifa. Both projects will appeal to the discerning customers who seek a smart lifestyle destination of choice in the heart of the city.

Among other developments of Emaar in Dubai include the 6 million sq m waterfront project Dubai Creek Harbour at The Lagoons developed as a joint venture with Dubai Holding in Mohammed bin Rashid City (MBR City). A design masterpiece, the mega-development for tomorrow’s youth is located on the banks of the Dubai Creek and will be defined by the iconic Dubai Twin Towers.

Another key project is the ‘city within a city’ Dubai Hills Estate, as a joint venture with Meraas Holding. Set on prime land, spanning over 11 million sq metres (2,700 acres), Dubai Hills Estate features vast stretches of landscaped parks and gardens, winding walkways and extensive open areas. Set in the heart of the development, is Dubai Hills, a highly exclusive villa development. Only a limited collection of villas and land plots, where customers can design their homes to their design consideration, is available as part of Dubai Hills.

Underlining its international expansion, Emaar will present its international projects in key markets including Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, Morocco, India and Pakistan which have redefined lifestyles. Among the showcase include Emaar Residences at Fairmont Makkah, which are fully furnished, spacious studio and one, two, and three-bedroom serviced residences in the Holy City of Makkah. The 3.8 million sq m Mivida, which is just 20 minutes away from Cairo International Airport, and featuring 5,000 homes designed by international architects is another highlight.

Emaar Turkey’s portfolio includes its flagship Tuscan Valley, now a fully-established community, and the new Emaar Square which takes inspiration from the rich cultural heritage and spirit of Istanbul. Emaar Square will comprise over 1,000 luxury homes, a 180-room five-star The Address hotel and a world-class shopping mall.

At its pavilion, Emaar will also present a compelling selection of photographs by celebrated Lebanese photographer, Camille Zakharia, entitled ‘Belonging.’ The photographs are part of the ongoing exhibition at ‘The Gallery’ at Emaar Pavilion in Downtown Dubai, the city’s newest arts destination that serves as a hub for creative expression.
