Dubai, UAE; February 27, 2014: Over 300 classic cars and motorcycles, the largest showcase to date, are the highlight of the sixth edition of the Emirates Classic Car Festival, the much-awaited event for classic car and motorcycle lovers and the general public.
Held on Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard, the thoroughfare that encircles Downtown Dubai, ‘The Centre of Now,’ the Emirates Classic Car Festival is organised by Emaar Properties, in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Culture, Youth & Community Development, and ATCUAE.
Until March 3, 2014, the 5-day event will host an unbeatable collection of Bentleys, Jaguars, Fords, and Porsches, among other brands, which maps the evolution of automobiles. With a showcase ranging from 1928 to 1984, the Festival features returning and new collectors, some of whom have flown in their vehicles from across the world. The event is open to the public.
On the closing day, car and motorcycle owners will be awarded by a panel of industry experts as well as by the general public through the Public Choice Awards. Visitors to the Emirates Classic Car Festival can cast their votes in ballot boxes situated across Downtown Dubai, or online through Downtown Dubai’s official Facebook page.
