Dubai, UAE, October 6, 2013 – Jumeira Baccalaureate School, part of Taaleem, is hosting  the JBS PFA Eid Carnival, on Wednesday 9 October from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Games, rides, food and children’s activities are all part of the Eid Carnival where families from all over Dubai from many different nationalities will attend.

The event is open to all, but has attracted the attention of leading companies in Dubai who wanted to join in the celebrations and sponsor such worthy charities. Emaar, Chivalry Salon, FutureLife, Oleander, Almarai, Tejuri and Candella are just some of the companies involved in the celebrations.
Ms. Mai M. Assaf, PFA Parent Interest Coordinator at Jumeira Baccalaureate School said: “With such an important celebration upon us, we wanted to bring families together and what better way than by organizing a carnival with all profits going to charity. Our goal is to share the spirit of Eid with the children.
We are very grateful to the Eid Subcommittee who have worked on this community building event for months, and to all the companies who are involved. We want to make sure this carnival is memorable and creates celebratory traditions for our children around Eid.
Jumeira Baccalaureate School is located in the heart of Jumeira and promotes a truly international learning environment. It recognizes and encourages diversity by hosting many events that welcome families of all nationalities.

Mr. Andrew Homden, Principal at Jumeira Baccalaureate School, said: “I am delighted to be supporting this worthy celebration and would like to thank the Parents and Friends Association for being the driving force behind getting the Eid Carnival off the ground and attracting such high profile companies to be involved. Every parent at our school is a member of the PFA.
Bringing families together from all different cultures and nationalities is what we do best in our international School and we believe this is one of the most important part of the child’s learning – meeting new people, and creating harmonious social interactions. We will look forward to welcoming you all to our community on Wednesday 9 October from 4:30pm to 7:30pm and encourage you to get involved.”

Jumeira Baccalaureate School has in the past given to Rashid Hospital, Royati Society, The Japanese Earthquake Fund, Dubai Cares and Merchant Seaman. We are keen to support charities and ensure that other children and families across the world should have access to education and others things that we take for granted. We host many events across the academic year to help us to support these charities.
