The Address Downtown Dubai makes the ‘CUT’ for Wolfgang Puck’s acclaimed restaurant

CUT will bring the acclaimed, inventive cuisine that is synonymous with Wolfgang Puck to the dynamic environment of The Address Hotels + Resorts’ 63-storey flagship property. The opening marks the world-renowned chef’s Middle East debut.

Wolfgang Puck said: “We are extremely excited to bring CUT to Dubai in the magnificent property, The Address Downtown Dubai. It is the ideal location to open my first restaurant in the Middle East. We’ve been interested in Dubai for quite some time but were waiting for the right opportunity and the right partner. We share similar visions with Emaar Hospitality Group in providing our guests with the most memorable and exciting experiences.”

CUT delivers innovation at every level through its unique cuisine, beverage, service and design combination. The menu will feature Wolfgang’s signature contemporary interpretation on the traditional American steak restaurant. From prime dry- and wet-aged beef, including selections from the United States and Australia to true 100 percent Japanese Kobe Beef, CUT caters to the palette of meat connoisseurs. 

The menu will appeal to a broad audience through an additional array of seafood and shellfish entrées. Global influences will be evident in Puck’s prolific use of Indian, Moroccan and Argentinean flavours, whether for garnishing or as accompaniments to the signature cuts of meat.

The cuisine will be paired extensively through a carefully crafted list of distinct international vintages. An artisan beverage programme will feature custom-made drinks and flavoured infusions. The lounge area of the restaurant will feature a menu called Rough CUTs showcasing CUT’s popular appetisers.

Internationally acclaimed designer Tony Chi will create the Dubai branch of CUT.  Working with Wolfgang Puck, his Fine Dining Group and the team of The Address Downtown Dubai, Chi will craft an environment unique to Dubai and The Address Hotels + Resorts for CUT.

Envisaged to deliver a unique dining experience that is modern, elegant, and refined, the interiors of CUT will reflect the essence of Downtown Dubai as a location that is home to exclusive residences, while serving as a vibrant business district and retail destination.

The Address Downtown Dubai, one of the city’s premium hotels, sets new trends in luxury hospitality, and is located in Downtown Dubai, described as ‘The Centre of Now,’ one of the most visited lifestyle destinations in the world. The 63-storey hotel offers 196 spacious and contemporary rooms, including 25 suites and 626 serviced residences with spectacular views of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, and The Old Town.
