  FAQs
The following FAQ’s relate to general FM services provided by Emaar Facility Management departments. Below are a number of questions the department is regularly asked regarding its activities, together with the answers.
 
1. How do I request a repair?
  Contact the Help Desk on 0800 EMAAR (36227), you will be asked for some details of the repair, location etc. and be given a unique reference number. FM customer care will call you and set the timelines for visit of FM service staff to rectify the problem
 
2. I requested a repair, but nothing has happened! What shall I do?
  All repair requests are entered/recorded into a computerized work management system and are prioritized to ensure optimum use of resources. We will ensure to avoid such circumstances, in any case if it happens please contact Fawad Ahmed (0321 5383452).
 
3. How do I find out if my maintenance request has been completed?
 

After completion of your service request you will be asked to sign the service request form in which you will put your satisfactory or unsatisfactory remarks. If you want to have monthly details of your service request please contact facility management customer care for a monthly completed Work Report of your house.

 
4.

I want to request an alteration in my house? How do I do this?

  At present, all requests should be made in writing or through email and addressed to Manager Facility Management. All requests will be acknowledged and we forward to Emaar projects/Development department for their input and shall be communicated to you accordingly.
 
5. I need to install electric appliances. Do I have to pay for the installation?
  No you don’t have to; facility Management will provide you the service of electrician without any extra charges. You only have to pay for accessories if required.
 
6.

I need blinds fitting in my study room etc. How can I ask for this?

  Contact the Help Desk on 0800 EMAAR (36227). Our carpenter will fix the blinds free of cost; you only have to pay for accessories if required.
 
7. Do I have to pay charges other then Facility Management Fee?
 

No you don’t have to pay any charges except Facility Management Fee. Charges will be applicable for purchase of accessories and defective items only.

 
8.

Do you offer services for internal landscaping of my house?

  No we don’t, Facility Management department only offer services for external common areas.
 
9. What is the process of garbage collection?
 

Our service provider will collect garbage in the morning on daily basis. However Emaar facility management will provide you garbage carts and shopping bags free of cost.
