Emaar is Race Sponsor of Dubai Kahayla Classic Race at Dubai World Cup 2008 |
Dubai, UAE; March 27, 2008: Emaar Properties PJSC will be the Race Sponsor of the Dubai Kahayla Classic Race at Dubai World Cup 2008, the premier equestrian and social event in Dubai’s events calendar. The US$250,000 Dubai Kahayla Classic for Purebred Arabian horses is a key race at this year’s thirteenth Dubai World Cup, to be held on March 29, 2008 at the Nad Al Sheba race course, and this year marks Emaar’s eighth consecutive year of sponsorship support. “One of the most-awaited events in Dubai’s social and sports calendar, the Dubai World Cup has established itself as the premier equestrian event globally,” said Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, UAE Managing Director, Emaar Properties. “Emaar’s support reiterates our commitment to community-related initiatives and underscores our partnership with events that highlight the region’s rich cultural legacy.” Emaar has integrated sports and pastimes such as golf, polo and equestrian events into its bustling communities.
