Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, September 5, 2007: Emaar, The Economic City (Emaar.E.C), the Tadawul-listed company developing King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC), will unveil its first integrated community, the Bay La Sun Village, as per schedule on September 8, 2007.
Located within the Residential District of KAEC, Bay La Sun is a fully integrated residential community directly overlooking the Red Sea. The elegantly designed luxury apartments come in different sizes and are set amidst placid water canals. Bay La Sun Village will also offer residents a host of amenities including leisure, retail outlets, schools, mosques, medical centres and community areas. Twenty-four hour security and maintenance support are standard.
Bay La Sun offers a unique living environment on the Red Sea with expanded waterfalls and Marinas to give residents, visitors and potential investors the unique experience of living by the Red Sea. The first Bay La Sun homes will be ready for hand over end of 2008.
“We are proud to launch the first residential community in KAEC on schedule. We have ensured that the best quality and design are reflected to meet the goals of this modern city and offer the best living standards for residents,” said Dr Abdulraouf Mannaa, Managing Director, Emaar.E.C.
Sales of the apartment units will be open to Saudis, GGC nationals and foreign investors. Bay La Sun was designed by international consultants and will feature high standards of infrastructure, communication networks and the latest technologies in the Kingdom.
The launch follows the Industrial Zone phase one registration earlier this year which received strong interest from local and international investors.
The sales launch on September 8 will be held from 10am to 10pm at the Sales Centres in KAEC and Riyadh. Potential investors can call 8001180010 or visit www.baylasun.com for more details.
KAEC is the single largest private sector-led project in the region and has six key components: the Sea Port, Industrial Zone, Central Business District (including the Financial District), Resort District, Educational Zone and Residential Communities. Work is progressing according to schedule on the various zones.
