Dubai, UAE, September 18, 2007: Emaar Properties has opened a new mosque within its Emirates Living neighbourhood. Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, UAE Managing Director, Emaar Properties, opened Al Samad mosque in the presence of several dignitaries representing the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department.
“Al Samad mosque has been designed and the construction managed by a dedicated team of Emaar staff members. As a socially responsible developer, Emaar is committed to providing places of worship and other amenities for our residents,” said Mr Al Matrooshi.
Al Samad mosque will add to the community feeling nurtured by Emaar in its neighbourhoods. The mosque is in close proximity to Emaar’s master-planned residences such as The Springs, The Lakes, The Meadows, The Greens and The Views.
