Emaar’s Arabian Ranches hosts Community Market Day

Dubai, UAE, May 19, 2007: Arabian Ranches, the premier desert-themed residential community by Emaar Properties, recently organised a Community Market Day for all residents. The ‘bring and buy sale,’ organised by Emaar’s Community Management Department and sponsored by du, also featured by free entertainment activities for children.

The Community Market Day was organised on the lawns near the Arabian Ranches former sales center from 4 to 7pm. Residents could rent a table and display their wares, which included an assortment of home appliances, fashion and shoe wear, books, audio-visual products, furniture and other accessories.

“Emaar’s neighbourhoods organize regular events that bring together residents to enhance the bonding in community living,” said Mr Ahmad Al Falasi, Executive Director – Asset Management, Emaar Properties. “The Community Market Day is one of the successful and regular events in our ‘Celebrating Lifestyles’ calendar and serves as an ideal family get-together venue.”

“The Community Market Day is a true family event that brings together the residents of Arabian Ranches. More than being a bring and buy sale, it serves as a forum for people to interact, form friendships and nurture the camaraderie of community living,” said Richard Richardson, Chairman of the Arabian Ranches Residents Committee.

The children were treated to several fun-events including bouncy castles, art and craft activities and interactive games. Emaar has hosted several Community Market Days for residents at Arabian Ranches and Emirates Living.
