Umm Al Quwain Marina completes earthwork for first phase Mistral villas

Umm Al Quwain, UAE, July 14, 2007: Umm Al Quwain Marina LLC, a joint venture between the government of Umm Al Quwain and Emaar Middle East, has completed the earthworks for Mistral Community at the scenic Khor Al Beidah natural lagoon. The Mistral homes, the first phase of the Umm Al Quwain Marina development, will be ready for handover in 2009. 

“We are on schedule with the development work on the first phase of villas at Umm Al Quwain Marina,” said Mr Ahmad Al Matrooshi, UAE Managing Director, Emaar Properties and Member of the Board of Directors of Emaar Middle East. “Earthwork work has been completed and the sites for the villas have been set out by Arabtec, the project contractor. As the first component of the development, the Mistral community will define the superior build quality that we ensure for the homes.”

The Mistral community comprises single-family detached villa homes in Spanish and Portuguese architectural styles. The three- and four-bedroom villas, ranging in size from 3,458 sq ft to 4,311 sq ft, will be set among amenities including schools, supermarkets, retail outlets, mosques, community centres, landscaped gardens and pedestrian pathways leading to an open beach and town centre. Residents will also have access to a range of marina-based activities.

Set among 2,000 acres with more than 23 km of waterfront and 450 acres of navigable water, the Umm Al Quwain Marina will have homes including villas and townhomes, boutique hotels, retail outlets and recreational facilities. 

The Umm Al Quwain Marina Sales Centre, conveniently located onsite and just off the coastal Dubai-Umm Al Quwain highway, is equipped to provide potential investors with extensive project information and home finance options from a variety of institutional providers.
