Emaar community representatives present awards to winning residents of ‘Service Fee Grand Draws’ |
Dubai, UAE, February 6, 2007: The community representatives of Emaar’s neighbourhoods in Dubai distributed prizes to the winners of the ‘Service Fee Grand Draws.’ The community initiative was organised by Emaar’s Community Management Department in co-ordination with the various residents groups of Emaar communities and was aimed at encouraging homeowners of Emaar’s residential communities to pay their Service Fees on time. The grand draws were held for owners of residences at The Greens, The Views, The Meadows, The Springs and Hattan. All homeowners who paid service fees in full before the designated date were automatically entered into the draw. Two draws were held each for a grand prize of one Toyota Camry 2007 and two 40 inch Sony LCD televisions. The draw for The Greens and The Views communities was held by The Greens Homeowners’ Representative Committee led by its Chairman, Mr Tony Tayeh; and the draw for The Springs, The Meadows and Hattan was conducted by a prominent resident of The Springs community, Mr Ahmad Al Qubasi. Mr Ahmad Al Falasi, Director, Property Management, Emaar Properties, said: “The homeowners in our communities have a consistent track record of paying the service fees promptly, which they know is pooled back to further improve their homes, lifestyle and the neighbourhood facilities. The draw is an additional community-oriented incentive, which also promotes the culture of the homeowners taking charge of their communities. With the establishment of Homeowner Committees in our developments, we have been able to achieve greater co-operation and involvement of residents in all aspects of community management.” The winners of the Toyota Camry are: Mr Majid Roozitalab (The Greens) and Mr Abed Al Kader Chawa (The Springs). The winners of the LCD televisions are: Mr John Reynolds (Turia, The Views) and Vivek Daphtary (Al Ghaf); and Mr Amirali Sofian Tazeh (The Meadows); and Mr Anthony D’Souza (The Springs).
